She is an accomplished pianist, having traveled with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra on three European tours and two tours to Japan. When the Cincinnati POPS toured mainland China and Singapore for the first time, she was there. She was a professor of music history at the Cincinnati College Conservatory.
