Tony Steer has been an American History enthusiast for many years, having been a teacher of history and a traveler in history. After visiting Colonial Williamsburg, he became especially interested in Patrick Henry and focused his study on him. Through extensive study and subsequent trips to Williamsburg, Yorktown, Scotchtown and Red Hill where Henry lived, Tony Steer began his adventure into the world of Patrick Henry. Please join us for lunch and a visit with Patrick Henry.

A LIGHT IN THE DARK: DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PREVENTION AND SUPPORT

This presentation will emphasize the YWCA’s four pillars of service as part of its domestic violence program:

(1) domestic violence, (2) red flags, (3) safety planning and (4) resources and support. You’ll learn how this program partners with local agencies to coordinate services for victims. It’s important to know that the 24-hour YWCA Domestic Violence Hotline provides crisis counseling, risk assessment and support for those in Hamilton, Clermont, Brown and Adams counties. www.ywcacincinnati.org.
