People with dementia may have been robbed of their memory, but not their creative capacity.  Learn about Opening Minds through Art (OMA), a groundbreaking intergenerational program, based at Miami University since 2007.  We’ll hear from its founding director, Dr. Elizabeth “Like” Lokon, MGS, Ph.D. who is also a gerontologist, educator and Senior Research Associate at Miami’s Scripps Gerontology Center.  The program’s mission is “to build bridges across ages and cognitive barriers through art.”
