This living history presentation explores the lives of both George and Martha Washington in the years surrounding America’s fight for independence from Great Britain. Through Martha’s recollections, audiences will learn about their family life, her marriage to George, and the many sacrifices they both made during the Revolutionary War. She frequently joined the General at winter encampments, offering companionship and support during difficult times. Through stories of love, loss, endurance and service to our country, get a closer look at this couple’s partnership.
