A Tradition of Service

The College Club of Cincinnati (CCC) is a group of college-educated women whose mission is "to promote a continuing interest and participation in philanthropy, the arts, education, social welfare, and civic improvement."  We are proud of our tradition of granting college scholarships to qualified young women in the geographic area.  This philanthropic endeavor is rewarding to the members and recipients alike, and is a major focus of the Club.  In addition, the Endowment Committee each year provides funds for other educational endeavors in the community.

In 2017-18, the 125th anniversary of the College Club's founding, members renewed their commitment to philanthropy directed at contemporary challenges, inspired by the passion of former President Janet McDaniel for giving back to the community. In the tradition of early members who supported settlement houses for the poor, these contributions focused on two groups of Cincinnati-area residents impacted by addition: military veterans and children. Donations were made to Joseph House, a comprehensive residential recovery program for veterans, and One Way Farm Children's Home, serving abused and neglected children, most of whom have family members with addiction issues.

The Board of Governors of the College Club will determine a philanthropy focus for the 2018-2019 program year benefitting our community. The Club's Endowment Committee also will make donations to non-profits whose operations reflect the mission of the club.
